Clear communication of strategy and research
Together, we develop sharp strategic core narratives for new projects, research, technologies, or business strategies.
In addition to the strength of having a well-founded strategic direction as you move forward, the process itself can also be very beneficial for achieving a strong common understanding.
The final core narrative can then be communicated to relevant audiences through visuals, graphics, and video.
Visually inspiring and powerful storytelling
Visualization is a powerful way to increase accessibility, engagement, and understanding - especially in a global work environment.
Also, when it comes to communicating complex research, technological or strategic topics, visualisation is an exceptionally powerful communication tool.
I offer development of graphic content in a wide variety of formats such as presentations, infographics, one-pagers, videos, animations, posters, roll-ups, etc.
Communicating your research through moving images
Nothing drives engagement, understanding, and curiosity like audiovisual communication of research and technology.
Here, you can truly highlight the great human and societal relevance of your research efforts.
I can manage all or parts of the process, including defining the strategic foundation, production planning, on-camera training for researchers or leadership, production, voice-over, colour grading, and more.
Get up close to everyday life with an illness
Personal stories of life with illness are conveyed with presence and honesty through video.
What does everyday life look like when living with a serious illness? How did it first begin? How do you best cope with the challenges? What can those around you do to help you?
For example, how does everyday life change when Alzheimer’s suddenly comes knocking and insists on becoming part of your family life?
Educational resources on diseases and research
Through a combination of images, video, and animation, disease areas and research fields are introduced clearly and effectively.
What do we know about the disease? How does it affect our body, our mental health, our everyday lives, and our relationships with others?
What treatments are available? How effective are they, and how can they be improved?
And how far has research come in developing new and even better treatments?
Concept and materials for workshops and events
Together, we create the ideal and inspiring framework for learning, collaboration, creativity, and robust decision-making, helping you achieve the results you’re aiming for.
Through mini-workshops and sparring sessions, we identify the right structure for your event, along with your design and material needs.
This can include everything from branding and sales materials for the event to presentations, creative elements, optimization of group work, and much more.
Create vivid stories from truly unique places
Podcasts are a powerful way to explore hard-to-reach places - places that would be impossible to visit through video.
Maybe a journey into our bloodstream and brain tissue, following immune cells as they mobilize for battle against disease.
Or a story about how a new drug opens the door to treating an illness in an entirely new way.
Or follow the development of a psychiatric hospital over 200 years - including hot baths, art, and punishment.
Inspirational talks on science and the brain
Through powerful visuals and compelling storytelling, the latest neuroscience and scientific insights are connected to relatable situations from everyday life - delivered with energy, presence, and relevance.
My goal is to make science and brain research come alive – relevant and applicable – so you leave with concrete ideas and can make better choices in daily life.
It should be the perfect mix of scientific depth and powerful storytelling that inspires, surprises, and entertains – and encourages you to keep on thinking.
An around the world scientific search of the good life
Life X - Life Explorers was an online video communication project exploring the science behind a good life.
Jes and Storm, a neuroscientist and a production manager, quit their jobs to sail around the world for three years to meet people and explore the science behind a good life. All at just 10 km per hour.
It was funded by The Lundbeck Foundation and shared on social media.
My background
I hold a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a PhD in Medicine. After more than 10 years in neuroscience research, I chose to focus on what drives me most: communicating research, health, and science in ways that make a real difference in people’s everyday lives, professional practice, and decision-making.
